Bohdan Prylepa, the owner of cryptocurrency exchanges Coinsbit, Qmall, and other platforms, has been added to Ukraine’s wanted list on charges of large-scale fraud and embezzling over one billion hryvnias of clients’ funds. The victims are said to include citizens from multiple European countries, and the stolen funds were allegedly intended for purchasing drones for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Ukrainian authorities are working with their European counterparts in the investigation, while Prylepa is believed to be hiding in Dubai.
